In a temporary departure from the Morris theme, Beth Russell
has designed a complete alphabet of twenty six kits, each
letter decorated by the appropriate animal. These kits are
suitable for children and beginners alike and can be stitched
individually or joined together to form initials, names or
messages.
New Alphabet Rug
The kits come packed in attractive little calico bags making
them ideal gifts. The new blue Zweigart canvas makes the
stitching of the background unnecessary and the illustrated
instructions are very easy to follow. They can be made into
cushions, cubes or samplers or simply joined together to
spell names or sayings. These animals make great starter
kits for people wanting to get into needlepoint for the
first time.
Beth has also just produced a printed rug (shown above)
of the entire alphabet.
